Amanda Bernal, PhD researcher and responsible of Task 1.1 (Social Image, Photojournalism and Documentary Film), has begun her fieldwork.
From June 8th to 10th, she was in Arles (France) and attended the photography festival that has been held every year between July and September since 1970. During those months, various exhibitions are displayed throughout the city, such as church interiors, old city streets, in stores and galleries, or even pop-ups in the street.
On the other hand, Amanda also went to Madrid from July 22nd to 24th to attend PHotoESPAÑA, the most important photography gathering in Spain, the epicenter of photography, both in terms of production and publications as well as contests and photo-books.
