The focus groups in task 1.1 have a dual objective: ethnographic and public anthropology.
On the one hand, they focus on training students in visual and digital techniques, both in formal and narrative aspects, and incorporating photography as a tool for individual and collective expression and communication. In the workshops, awareness is raised about individual and community identity, as well as their material, symbolic, and expressive capacities. This ethnographic use of the technique allows for understanding the values, emotions, thoughts, and reflections of different groups in a safe and confidential environment, regarding their perception of reality, various events in the world, and how they build trust in the images that are part of their daily lives.
